$STUB Keep your eyes out for more bad news. Really bad news! Let's just say there are a lot of big names investigating this scam company. They should have never gone public, can't hide their corruption now.
$STUB more bad press to add gasoline to the fire. Feel like short algos just abusing it cause they can. What stops large resellers from selling tickets in another state via a VPN? Also can’t imagine a world where this is properly enforced because if it is all it changes is where the resellers will sell their tickets. Got a feeling gray area unsecure third party ticket sellers will emerge if many states go through with this just choking supply. Finally, the 20% adoption by 2027 seems awfully bearish. Also, this was known this morning that it passed but only got smoked cause bozo Citi created a spooky headline out of it

StubHub shares fell Wednesday after Citi warned that expanding ticket resale price cap legislation could materially pressure the company's profitability. The firm estimates StubHub could face a roughly $95 million EBITDA headwind if resale price cap laws continue to spread across key markets. Washington, D.C. unanimously passed the RESALE Act on July 14, introducing a 10% cap on ticket resale prices for concerts and events beginning January 1, 2027. The law also prohibits speculative ticket sales, mandates all-in pricing transparency, bans surveillance-based pricing practices, and strengthens ticketing enforcement measures. D.C. joins Maine and Vermont in adopting resale price limits, while Ontario has enacted similar legislation, bringing the affected population to approximately 14% of the combined U.S. and Canadian populations. $STUB
