Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information InsiderCluster collects, why, and the choices you have. It's written in plain language.
Who we are
InsiderCluster is operated by NexarionFlux AI LLC ("we," "us"). It helps you track SEC insider transactions, stock prices, company news, and aggregated social sentiment for U.S.-listed companies. You can reach us any time at frank.yang@nexarionflux.ai.
You can use InsiderCluster without an account. There is no login or password for visitors. Most of what we store is tied to an anonymous device identifier in a cookie, not to your real-world identity. The one exception is your email address, and only if you choose to give it to us (see below).
What we collect and why
Anonymous device id
We store a random identifier (UUID) in a first-party cookie named it_did. It keys your watchlist, behavior events, and personalized recommendations.
- Why: personalization and product analytics without making you log in.
- Legal basis: consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) where required, and legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) in operating and improving the service.
- Retention: the cookie lasts ~2 years; linked records are kept indefinitely.
Behavior events
We record how you use the site: searches (with a truncated copy of the query), tickers viewed, dwell time, watchlist add/remove, news and filing clicks, recommendation impressions and clicks, and chart range changes.
- Why: to improve ranking, recommendations, and understand usage.
- Legal basis: legitimate interests; consent where required for the non-essential cookie that underpins it.
- Retention: indefinitely.
Watchlist
Symbols you add to your watchlist, keyed to your device id (also mirrored in your browser's local storage).
- Legal basis: legitimate interests. Retention: until you remove them.
Email address (only if you ask for alerts)
If you submit the optional "Get insider-buy alerts" form, we store the email address you provide, the page you submitted from, and your device id.
- Why: to send you the insider-buy digest/alerts you signed up for.
- Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — entirely voluntary.
- Retention: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
What we do NOT collect
- No visitor login, password, or account.
- No name, no phone number, no payment or financial data.
- No precise geolocation, and no device fingerprinting.
- No third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Cookieless analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand overall traffic and performance. These are cookieless, set nothing on your device, and collect only aggregate data (page views, referrers, approximate region, device type). They do not identify you.
Crawler logs
We log visits by automated AI/search crawlers (e.g. GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot) — bot user-agent, path, and approximate country — to understand how the site is indexed. This is about bots, not about you.
Who processes your data
- Vercel — hosting, serverless functions, and cookieless analytics.
- Neon — serverless Postgres storing events, watchlists, and email subscriptions.
We do not sell or share your personal information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, and object to processing (GDPR Arts. 15–21), and to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale under CCPA/CPRA (we do not sell). To exercise any right, email frank.yang@nexarionflux.ai. You can also clear the it_did cookie to sever the link to your device data, and unsubscribe from emails at any time.
Children
InsiderCluster is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
International transfers
Data may be processed in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards.
Changes
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date will change. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
