Nvidia disclosed a 9.3% stake in AI cloud infrastructure company Nebius, representing approximately 22.26 million shares, including shares tied to a warrant received as part of its $2 billion investment announced earlier this year. Nvidia is prohibited from exercising the warrant before September 11, according to regulatory filings. Nebius shares rose 3% in after-hours trading following the disclosure. Amsterdam-based Nebius, which was spun off from Yandex, is building AI-focused cloud infrastructure and plans to deploy more than 5 gigawatts of computing capacity by 2030. The company partnered with Nvidia earlier this year and is also one of its customers, highlighting Nvidia's strategy of investing across the AI ecosystem while simultaneously supplying hardware to fast-growing infrastructure providers.
