$EA reports after the close today; the historical post-earnings chart looks more volatile than quiet, so a sizable reaction would not be out of character.

$STUDY — Volatility Personalities Inside the Nasdaq‑100 In my custom view I’m looking at the current top 10 or so components of the Nasdaq‑100 — top because they satisfy 13 technical studies and are rated 100% Buy over at Barchart. When I scan this list, I immediately look all the way to the right at the 50‑day ATRP (ATR expressed as a percentage of price). This tells me the volatility personality of each stock. In this group (the 2nd attached image), the lowest ATRP is: $EA — 0.44% → ultra‑low volatility → maybe too boring And the highest ATRP is: $DDOG — 4.12% → ultra‑high volatility → maybe too exciting Both extremes are tradable, but they require very different cycle engines. The Sweet Spot: 2–3% ATRP. Something in the 2–3% ATRP range is: volatile enough to be interesting, but still manageable, with less chaotic noise, and cleaner trend structure In the image, we have several Nasdaq‑100 names in this ideal zone: ABNB AMGN CCEP FAST $PCAR (shown in the attached chart) ROST These are the names where the fast entry system shines — but the slow exit system keeps you in the trend. How We Trade These (PCAR Example) On PCAR’s chart: Fast entry system catches the inflection points Slow exit system keeps you in the move until the trend truly breaks The orange line you see is the slow exit anchor, placed 2 ATR below the 100 EMA. This gives us: a volatility‑adjusted entry trigger, a risk measurement tool, and a position‑sizing reference The slow exit line (KC2) defines the trend boundary. As long as price stays above it, the trend is intact — even if the fast system fires multiple entries. We can continue to take all the fast entries, perhaps scaling in This combination is ideal for stocks in the 2–3% ATRP range because: fast entries catch the impulses or upward shifts in momentum, slow exits survive the noise, risk is measurable and position size can be adjusted logically Key Point The Nasdaq‑100 contains the full volatility spectrum: EA (0.44%) → too boring → KC1/KC1 DDOG (4.12%) → too exciting → KC1/KC2 ABNB, AMGN, CCEP, FAST, PCAR, ROST (2–3%) → the sweet spot → KC1 entries + KC2 exits ATR% reveals the volatility personality. Cycle selection respects it. Have a good and profitable day and life

$EA why is this still tradable being bought out

$STUDY As it is a market holiday in Canada and you know apart from markets and bicycling I have no life and thus have time to share these studies with you today. Volatility Personalities Inside $SPY : $EA vs $SNDK You don’t need to look outside the S&P 500 to understand volatility personality. SPY contains both ultra‑low volatility stocks and ultra‑high volatility stocks, and they behave completely differently. ATR% (ATR expressed as a percentage of price) is the cleanest way to measure volatility personality and here are two extremes inside SPY: EA — Ultra‑Low Volatility (ATRP 0.44%) EA is one of the lowest‑volatility names in the entire index. Low‑volatility stocks: move slowly, have smooth reversals, produce minimal noise, rarely fake out fast exits Backtest result: EA performs best with KC1 entry + KC1 exit (fast/fast). Why? Because EA’s volatility is so low that: KC1 exits aren’t too tight, reversals are clean, noise never exceeds the KC1 envelope, fast exits capture the small, steady trend impulses EA is a low‑volatility, low‑noise stock — KC1 fits perfectly. Charts will show this clearly: KC1 entries and KC1 exits align with EA’s gentle trend structure. SNDK — Ultra‑High Volatility (ATRP 12.63%) SNDK sits at the opposite extreme. High‑volatility stocks: have chaotic noise, produce violent reversals, fakeouts exceed KC1 stop envelopes, shake out fast exits constantly and thus need to ride bigger trends and have wider stops Backtest result: SNDK performs best with KC1 entry + KC2 exit (fast/slow). Why? Because SNDK’s volatility is so high that: KC1 entry is needed to catch the early trend, KC1 exit gets shredded by noise, KC2 exit gives the stock room to breathe, KC2 survives the volatility structure! SNDK is a high‑volatility, high‑noise stock — KC1/KC2 is required. Charts will show this clearly: KC1 exits get blown out repeatedly, while KC2 exits ride the trend. Key Point SPY alone contains the full volatility spectrum: EA (0.44%) → KC1/KC1 showing the fast entry and exit SNDK (12.63%) → KC1/KC2 showing the fast entry and slow exit ATR% reveals the volatility personality. Cycle selection respects it.
